Una ciudad maravillosa donde tengo un coleccionista incre\u00edble y donde adem\u00e1s, expondr\u00e9 en el \u00faltimo tercio de este a\u00f1o la serie nueva que he venido cocinando desde hace meses en mi caldero de tinta y agua. El espacio es grande y d\u00e1 para poder colgar unos 40 cuadros. Estoy muy contenta por este nuevo avance que me ayudar\u00e1 a llegar a m\u00e1s espectadores, adem\u00e1s esta obra por fin estar\u00e1 completa cuando encuentre a sus interlocutores.<\/p>\n
Hay m\u00e1s noticias que ir\u00e9 soltando poco a poco, por lo pronto vayan ahorrando para ir a esta hermosa ciudad donde la m\u00fasica del ingl\u00e9s est\u00e1 matizada por decenas de acentos, la enormidad de los edificios del centro te hacen sentir peque\u00f1ito, la comida vegetariana est\u00e1 por todas partes y se encuentran las mejores malteadas que he probado en mi vida. Adem\u00e1s tuve la fortuna de visitar una muestra de arte de mujeres surrealistas expuesta en el Museo de Arte Contempor\u00e1neo de Los Angeles (LACMA)<\/strong>, una soberbia y exquisita selecci\u00f3n de obra que me sumergi\u00f3 en una profunda meditaci\u00f3n acerca de la misteriosa psique femenina, los problemas que enfrentamos y nuestra manera de ver, sentir y respirar este mundo, tan distinta a la manera de los hombres. La exposici\u00f3n est\u00e1 separada por temas: autoretratos, el espacio dom\u00e9stico, el romance, el cuerpo, pol\u00edtica, t\u00e9cnicas nuevas, etc. Si van a ir pronto, no pueden perd\u00e9rsela. Si est\u00e1n all\u00e1, vayan. Si tienen los medios para lanzarse ya, h\u00e1ganlo. Es una soberbia mirada al mundo interno de decenas de geniales mujeres creativas, traducidas a lo material mediante el puente de t\u00e9cnicas pict\u00f3ricas, gr\u00e1ficas y escult\u00f3ricas.<\/p>\n Esta foto es de una instalaci\u00f3n de luz afuera del museo, encontr\u00e9 muy simb\u00f3lica su luminosidad en la noche de un d\u00eda en el que me enter\u00e9 de la muerte de mi querido y admirad\u00edsimo t\u00edo Luis Rodolfo Mor\u00e1n Gonzalez<\/strong>, eminente y sabio cient\u00edfico, m\u00e9dico de \u00e9tica intachable. Al d\u00eda siguiente, mientras iba de regreso al hotel en autob\u00fas, \u00e9ste hizo una parada frente a un Instituto de Translplante de \u00d3rganos, v\u00ed el letrero en medio de la oscuridad de la noche justo cuando gir\u00e9 la cabeza. Me gusta pensar que mi t\u00edo me mand\u00f3 un gui\u00f1o.<\/p>\n Te tengo mucha fe, Los Angeles.[\/lang_es]<\/p>\n [lang_en]I just got back from Los Angeles. A wonderful city where an incredible collector of mine lives and where i\u00b4ll be exhibiting in the last third of this year the new series I have been brewing in my ink and water cauldron for the past months. The space is big enough for 40 pieces to be hanged. I am very happy for this breakthrough that will help me share my work with new public, and this work will finally be complete when it finds new companions to share its message with.<\/p>\n There are more news I will be releasing little by little, for now please start saving to go to this beautiful city where the music of english is colored by many accents, the hugeness of downtown buildings make you feel tiny, veggie food is everywhere and where I have found the best milshakes I have tasted in my life. I also had the priviledge of seeing an exhibit of\u00a0 the work of surrealists women at the Los Angeles Contemporary Art Museum (LACMA)<\/strong> a superb and exquisite selection of works that submerged me into a deep meditation about the misterious feminine psyche, the problems we face, and our way of\u00a0 seeing, feeling and breathing this world, so different from the way men do. The exhibit is divided in themes: self-portraits, the domestic space, romance, body image, politics, new media, etc. If you are going soon, you can\u00b4t miss it. If you are there, go. It\u00b4s a magnificent look at creative women\u00b4s inner worlds, translated into a tangible thing through the\u00a0 bridge of pictoric, sculptoric and graphic media.<\/p>\n This picture is from a light installation that It\u00b4s outside of the museum. I found it extremelly simbolic in the previous night of the day my beloved and most admired uncle Luis Rodolfo Mor\u00e1n Gonz\u00e1lez passed away. He was an eminent scientists, a doctor of pristine ethic. The day after, I was going back to the hotel by bus and it stopped just in front of an Organ Transplant Institute, I spotted it in the darkness when I turned my head.
