[lang_es]El tiempo para la muestra de Los \u00c1ngeles se acorta y los mil detalles para que quede absolutamente hermosa son muchos. Uno de tantos es que har\u00e9 dos invitaciones: una en impresi\u00f3n digital (dise\u00f1ada por la gran @liloo999) y otra que har\u00e9 combinando t\u00e9cnicas cl\u00e1sicas de grabado e impresi\u00f3n. El resultado ser\u00e1 una invitaci\u00f3n peque\u00f1ita en papel Arches que constar\u00e1 de un grabado original en alto contraste -que podr\u00e1 ser desprendido- con los datos de la expo impresos abajo con l\u00edneas hechas en una maravillosa m\u00e1quina de linotipia. Ayer fui testigo del bello proceso -alqu\u00edmico- por medio del cual el maestro Rafael Villegas del Taller Dittoria cre\u00f3 las l\u00edneas de texto. El traqueteo de las piezas del noble aparato mientras fund\u00eda el plomo, antimonio y esta\u00f1o para crear las matrices y la intensa concentraci\u00f3n del maestro, combinadas con el sol de justicia de las 3 pm me hicieron sentir una fuerte nostalgia por todos aquellos oficios que est\u00e1n desapareciendo. Estos seres fabulosos en peligro de extinci\u00f3n. \u00danicos.[\/lang_es][lang_en]The countdown for the Los Angeles show is ticking and the bunch of details waiting to be taken care of in order for everything to be absolutely beautiful is long. One of many is that two invitations will be done: one in digital impression (designed by the great @liloo999) and another one that will be done combining classical engraving and printing techiniques. The result will be a little invitation on Arches paper that will have an original, detachable high contrast engraving with the show info printed underneath. The letters have been made on a wonderful lynotipe machine. Yesterday I was witness of this splendid process, -something alchemical- through which the master Rafael Villegas from the Dittoria Workshop created the lines of text. The clatter of the pieces of the noble contraption while it melted the lead, antimony and tin to create the moulds and the intense concentration from the master, combined with the ruthless 3 pm sun made me feel a strong nostalgia for those trades that are dissapearing.
