Chesterton<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Me pregunto si cuando <strong>Hendrickje Stoffels<\/strong> lleg\u00f3 a trabajar de sirvienta a la casa de <strong>Rembrandt Van Rijn <\/strong>se imagin\u00f3 que se convertir\u00eda en la amante del pintor viudo que le llevaba m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">No s\u00e9 c\u00f3mo empez\u00f3 la relaci\u00f3n entre estos dos, pero estoy bien segura que la chica de veinte a\u00f1os no pudo dejar de conmoverse con la obra del maestro y cuando despert\u00f3 del ensue\u00f1o ya estaba enamorada del hombre que la inmortalizar\u00eda en varias de sus obras, en algunas la retrat\u00f3 como ella misma, en otras la us\u00f3 como modelo.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_844\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-844\" style=\"width: 654px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-844  \" title=\"Hendrickje\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dianamartin.net\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2011\/11\/Hendrickje.jpg\" width=\"654\" height=\"852\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-844\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hendrickje en el ba\u00f1o, por Rembrandt<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Esta es otra de mis pinturas favoritas de todos los tiempos, en ella puedo presentir el deseo que le despertaba la mujer que lleg\u00f3 un buen d\u00eda a trabajar en su casa sin saber que tambi\u00e9n aliviar\u00eda su soledad y le proveer\u00eda un remanso espiritual. Miramos a Hendrickje desde el punto de vista de Rembrandt, con los ojos del hombre que ya la hab\u00eda pose\u00eddo, la observa en medio de esta atm\u00f3sfera de calmo erotismo, la chica se levanta los faldones de la camisa con una dulce sonrisa en los labios, el claroscuro no nos decepciona, sigue como un velo guardando el misterio.<\/p>\n<p>No nos atrevemos a asegurarlo, pero tenemos una fuerte corazonada aqu\u00ed en la redacci\u00f3n de que Hendrickje tambi\u00e9n pos\u00f3 para esta obra:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_846\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-846\" style=\"width: 583px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-846\" title=\"Hendrickje3\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dianamartin.net\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2011\/11\/Hendrickje3.jpg\" width=\"583\" height=\"600\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-846\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Betsab\u00e9 en el ba\u00f1o<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Rembrandt nunca se cas\u00f3 con Hendrickje, hacerlo lo hubiera privado de la herencia de su fallecida esposa <strong>Saskia van Uylenburg<\/strong>, con la que a duras penas aliviaba sus considerables deudas. Cuando en 1654, la criada convertida en amante result\u00f3 embarazada, tuvo que comparecer ante el consejo de la Iglesia por \u00abvivir en el pecado\u00bb con el pintor. Las palabras con las que Hendrickje respondi\u00f3 a los cargos nos han hecho admirarla y tambi\u00e9n nos hacen ver que en ella hab\u00eda m\u00e1s facetas que la de la sensual y tr\u00e9mula modelo del artista: \u00abAdmito que he cometido los actos de una prostituta con Rembrandt, el pintor\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Hendrickje tuvo a su hija Cornelia en Octubre de 1654, y cuando el Gremio de pintores de San Lucas le prohibi\u00f3 al maestro vender sus pinturas, ella y Titus (hijo de Rembrandt con su fallecida esposa) se asociaron y comenzaron a reunir las pinturas del maestro.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_847\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-847\" style=\"width: 425px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-847\" title=\"Hendrickje2\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dianamartin.net\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2011\/11\/Hendrickje2.jpg\" width=\"425\" height=\"600\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-847\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hendrickje como Hendrickje, por su amado Rembrandt<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Hendrickje muri\u00f3 en 1663 cuando la plaga azot\u00f3 Amsterdam.
